No matter how good you think you are or how experienced your processes, mistakes will happen. In the firewood business, our mistakes are our “Chunks and Shorties”.

These are the pieces of our kiln-dried firewood that aren’t as long as we would like or are just a bit too big (thick) for most wood-burning stoves.  We remove them when we are packing our Super-Sacks or prepping a restaurant order.

Normally, we just toss them into a spare pile under the drying shed.

But when you split and process as many cords of wood as we do, the Chunk and Shortie pile can get sorta big. Which why we are offering them to you for just $200 for a half-cord!

Yep, this is the exact same, high quality, kiln-dried hardwood that goes into our Super Sacks or that we sell to our commercial kitchen customers. The only difference is their odd-shapes and sizes, which why we sell it as “Backyard Firewood”.

Product Details

Our chunks and shorties are ideal for outside fun like grilling, “stay-cations”, camping trips or outdoor parties, and of course your backyard fire pit.

This firewood lights easily, smells great and burns a nice long time. It produces a pleasant smoke that repels bugs like mosquitoes, nits and other flying pests.

We can’t deliver, but you are welcome to come by our place at 2 Moonstone Drive (across from Weldon Way), Fairview, NC
